Grandfoal update...

Almost forgot to update you all.  Grandfoal is not being induced, because they think he'll make an appearance all of his own accord this weekend.  Sam was having lots of discomfort with mild cramps before her appointment today with very little movement from Lincoln.  When Chris called Dr. to tell them, they had him bring her right away.  They did another ultrasound, Lincoln is moving around just fine,  Sam just can't feel it so much cause she's got a bit more amniotic fluid than the norm.  Not worrisome amount though.  So while doing the ultrasound the Doc watched awhile then informed them that Sam was having mild contractions every 4 to 5 minutes.  She's not effaced or dilated yet, but her body is warming up for the big event!!!  Mom is like over the moon with anticipation.  Poor Sam is just plum wore out, she can't sleep, can't get comfortable, she's just miserable and wants to pop the big guy out.  Right now they say he's about 8 1/2 lbs.
On the me front, my stall is done xcept for cutting in my window and building my stall door!!!  Mom's over the moon with anticipation for my move as well.  Dad still has to do one more gate too, so depending on Lincoln, I should be moving Sunday or Monday.  Hooves crossed!!!  I won't mind being pre-empted for a birthing at all.
Oh, Gramma sawed her Dr. the cancer is still wee tiny, she'll be seeing the Dr. every 4 months with Mammograms in between to keep watch on it.  Lotsa blessings round here for sure.
