Camryn here:
Mom had called Promise Eye Dr. to refill her prescription. One of the Vet Techs loves Corgis in general and Promise in particular. So when Mom went in to pick up the medicine this is what she got:
The Vet Tech had carefully taped a Corgi pups picture on the prescription bag, along with Promise name written all cute like. Wrong kind of Corgi since the pup is a Pembroke & Promise is a Cardigan. It's one of those things where it's the thought that counts. Mom thought this thought counted so much that it rates a blog topic. I think she's right. I kinda like that the Corgi pup is the same color as me!!!
Should mention that Promise dry eye is doing good, though she'll most likely need the ointment the rest of her life. She's a good girl about Mom cleaning her eye and treating it three times a day though. Promise is a good girl for just about anything though.
Later...
Awww! How sweet for Promise!
ReplyDeleteThe Vet tech is so sweet.... talk about 'going the extra mile'!
ReplyDeleteI hope Promise's eye feels better.
It feels better, cause of the meds. Mom does the prescript twice daily, the over counter once daily. Dr. says she'll probably need it for the rest of her life.
