It finally happened, Grandfoal came to see me at the barn today. Neither of us were terribly impressed however...
Margeaux took Grandfoals visit quite seriously making sure Maizee (heading out the door) steered clear!

It finally happened, Grandfoal came to see me at the barn today. Neither of us were terribly impressed however...
Mmmph, I'd have thought he'd be just a little excited about meeting me don't ya think? Or perhaps be more of a help in helping clean my room? Nope, he came in saw me and promptly fell asleep! Maybe he was dreaming of riding me thruout the countryside? Or maybe he was shutting out the fact that someday Mom'd actually expect some help cleaning my room? I can't really complain though, I came in the barn took a gander at the little guy then went back out to more important things (grass of course).

DeleteHuman foals are such late developers. Can't even walk for about a year. I mean how stupid is that? What if a tiger came he wouldn't be able to run away.
ReplyDeleteHe is so cute though. You just wait until he does start riding. Those giggles are so addictive you will just want to let him ride more and more.
I know it's so odd. My babies came to nurse, I didn't have to literally go get em when they was hungry!!! Mom says he's beginning to smile now, giggles soon to come?
